API pump: HZAR single or multistage ring-section pump

Type HZAR is a single or multi-stage centrifugal pump according to API 610, type BB4, with axial suction port.

To achieve very low NPSH values, the suction casing is designed with an axial inlet and the suction-side impeller with an enlarged inlet cross section. Axial thrust compensation is achieved by means of relief wells and throttle gaps, and impeller and wear rings are standard on the suction and discharge sides. The pump shafts are supported in a cylindrical roller bearing and paired angular ball bearings.

Replaceable bearing seals are arranged on both sides.

Sealing to the atmosphere is occured by profile gaskets in metal-to-metal design.

The seal chamber is designed in such a way that mechanical seals according to API 682
can be installed.
