Vulcanised ‘O’-rings are specialised, custom-made ‘O’-rings for exclusive applications. They are crafted from the extruded cord, allowing the supply of any specified inside diameter, starting from 180mm. They provide a cost-effective and fast solution when a moulded ‘O’-ring is unavailable.
Vulcanised ‘O’-rings are produced using a 45° scarf, joined through a vulcanising process providing a barely visible seamless join, which replicates the overall extruded core strength. Manufactured to order, on short lead times and available in various cross section sizes, material grades and hardness options.
