The principle of the piston pump is anything but new—on the contrary, it has been around for centuries and has enabled countless applications in agriculture, industry, and trade. Nevertheless, this robust and simple technology is rarely used today. Many manufacturers have turned away from the piston pump because it is considered “too expensive.”
At PuWe GmbH, we have deliberately chosen the opposite path. Instead of abandoning old technology, we have thoroughly revised it. Our developers have analyzed and specifically eliminated the classic weaknesses of piston pumps – such as wear on seals, uneven delivery, and maintenance requirements. The result is a modern, production-ready product that combines the advantages of the piston pump with today’s technology.
Our piston pump works reliably with highly viscous media, where many other pump types reach their limits. Thanks to optimized materials, improved sealing systems, and a well-thought-out design, we achieve a long service life and consistent performance—even under difficult conditions.
