Filter units or stations combine one or more filters with magnetically coupled centrifugal pumps. They are pre-assembled on a base frame, fully piped, and ready for connection. Depending on the setup, filters can be installed on the suction or discharge side. Filter housings are available with screw caps, hinged lids, or quick-change systems. Multifunctional units allow the use of cartridges, bags, plate inserts, or adsorbers.
The pump moves liquid through the filter where particles are retained. The cleaned fluid is discharged or further processed.
Available types:
Plate filter stations – large surface area, up to 120 m³/h
Cartridge filter stations – high flow, up to 72 m³/h
Bag filter stations – suitable for high solids, up to 18 m³/h
High-flow stations – high volumes, low resistance, up to 75 m³/h
Multifunction units – for various filter inserts, up to 20 m³/h
Adsorber units – for oil/sludge removal, up to 3 m³/h
These systems are used for handling aggressive, corrosive, or solid-laden liquids – e.g., in chemical processing or wastewater treatment. Pumps are not self-priming and require inlet pressure.
Materials: PP, PVDF, stainless steel (V4A); special alloys on request. Wetted parts are media-resistant. Seals: EPDM, FPM, or FEP-coated. Activated carbon paper or precoated carbon can be added optionally.
