IANUS Simulation GmbH is a German deep tech scale-up and software developer headquartered in Dortmund with additional offices in Bielefeld, Berlin, and Darmstadt. Since its founding in 2006, IANUS has evolved from a traditional engineering firm to a simulation-as-a-service company with a focus on automation and AI, and currently employs an interdisciplinary team of more than 100 people.
Solutions and services
IANUS Simulation develops customizable simulation technologies for solving highly complex fluid dynamics processes. In addition to customer-specific solutions, IANUS also offers its solutions as part of StrömungsRaum®, the first fully scalable Simulation-as-a-Service ecosystem. Cloud access allows you to access a highly automated framework anytime, anywhere, and use simulations to your advantage without expert knowledge or expensive digital infrastructure. Calculations on high-performance clusters in Europe combine fast, high-quality simulations with a high level of data security. The tool guides the user intuitively through the simulation process until it starts. Using the example of centrifugal pump simulations, only the geometries of impellers and housings, as well as a few process parameters, are required. StrömungsRaum® handles the entire simulation from preprocessing to postprocessing fully automatically—you receive characteristic curves and field sizes in PDF reports and CSV files for individual further use.
