A new generation has emerged from the FCF series. “Version 1.0” has been replaced by the new “Version 2.0”. The individual parts of the FCF 50 to 150 valve types have been optimized for production. This measure will shorten lead times and allow customers to be supplied more quickly. A flow simulation program was used to significantly reduce the flow resistance in the valve. Depending on the nominal size, the valve flow could be increased by over 40%. Systematic optimization of the individual parts also reduced the weight by up to 27%, depending on the nominal size.
Until now, the old FCF versions were mainly used whenever very large quantities of coolant were required. Version 2.0’s larger flow rate, its lower weight, suitable seals and housing materials now allow you to gain a foothold in completely new markets. We see a growing emerging market for the FCF series, particularly in the vacuum and gas technology sector. The demand for valves used for natural gas (gas control lines) and hydrogen will grow considerably over the next few years. The FCF Version 2.0 series thus puts us in a very good position.
