Filling made easy

The drum pump manufacturer JESSBERGER has been producing filling systems made of stainless steel for more than 5 years in order to enable its customers an convenient and easy filling from 200 liter drums or IBC containers into smaller containers.

The frame of the filling system, the weighing platform and the indicator were made of stainless steel V2A. All components that come into contact with the medium, such as the filling tube or the sensors, are made of stainless steel V4A. The control box, the weighing platform and the evaluation device are protected against the ingress of moisture and water thanks to protection class IP65. The total weight of the system is 45 kg.

A large number of media can be precisely dosed with the filling system. However currently no flammable liquids are allowed to be filled that have a flash point below 55°C or when stainless steel V4A is no longer resistant. Together with a drum pump such a filling unit with a pneumatic filling lance from JESSBERGER costs around € 8.500.
