The 4.OPMC e.V. network is a cross-industry association of representatives from business and science with the aim of jointly identifying subject areas of digitalization in the area of production and maintenance, developing innovative solutions and creating the technical requirements to implement them efficiently.
The tasks and goals of the platform include, on the one hand, sensitizing broad sections of society to the topic and developing research funding accordingly and, on the other hand, promoting technical progress and industrial development in Germany in close cooperation with politicians.
